My Sunday has just perked up, because dynamic comedy duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have announced they are teaming up again to star in a new comedy movie. If you haven’t seen Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, then one you’ve been living under a rock and two you need to watch them pronto.
After the World’s End Left us disappointed we need this upcoming film to reach the comedy heights of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. So what are they planning for the next film, will it involve Zombies or secret cults trying to win village of the year, Nick says
“Simon and I are working on something. We’re trying to do something a bit special at the moment. It’s a work in progress, and we may have some more information on it later in the year.
“I think I’d [want] to do something in the sci-fi world. Something a bit ghost hunter-y, or a bit Monster of the Week in a comedy. With two guys and a girl, it’s like the X-Files, but they’re not affiliated with any government agency.”
Let’s hope this idea will get Edgar Wright on board and finish the missing link in the trio, and for now i’m going to leave it there and continue my lazy Sunday staying in a horizontal position until Monday morning. Let me know what you think the next Simon Pegg and Nick Frost film should be about, in the comment box below and i’ll respond. Peace Out!
