It can be tiring being a criminal, especially when you have to deal with stand offs and shoot outs which can last for hours on end… i mean where do you find the time to sleep?
Well, Florida man Derrick Walden knows all about this after he as busted after a six-hour standoff with police back in May. Walden got into a heated argument with a woman, who called police at around 9:15 P.M. on the evening of May 18, 2016, after the fight began to get seriously heated.
Walden then barricaded himself and his victim inside the apartment and threatened to shoot police if they tried to enter the building.
Negotiators worked for hours, and at around 3 A.M. the next morning Walden finally let the woman go. he then fell asleep, enabling officers to arrest Walden, and he was charged with misdemeanour battery, felony battery, domestic violence (strangulation), probation violation, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
I mean the guy fell asleep… like what the hell!
