Just finished watching the penultimate episode of The Fall and it’s coming to a dramatic conclusion.
So to recap Paul or shall we say Peter has awoke from his coma without any memory for the past 6 years with no recollection of the murders he confessed to in the last season.
In this season he’s spent much of his time on an operating table or trying to play catch up with his ailing memory. However in this episode his “memory loss” took an awkward turn when Stella and the young bobby she’s been knocking about with produced a photo linking him to another murder that falls outside the 6 year period he can’t remember. In Paul/Peter’s words “they’re being very clever”, quite like the script writers as now how’s he going to explain this one.
In this episode we learn’t a lot about Paul’s past, he was sexually abused for a lot of his childhood, he might of had an accomplice in some of the crimes – some dude called David Alvarez and he could of potentially been involved in 9 murders.
The season finale is on Friday 28th and we can see this being an explosive one, is Paul lying about his memory loss to wrangle the system, is he one of Belfast’s most notorious serial killers and will he go down for all these murders. It’s sure to be a biggie and I can’t wait!
